New Bus Service from Littlemoor Road to Dorchester

Message from Dorset Transport Watch

We want to make residents of Preston and Littlemoor aware of the new direct bus service to Dorchester starting Monday 11 April.  Damory are re-routing their two-hourly service from Weymouth to Blandford via Preston Road, Chalbury Corner and Littlemoor Road.

Many residents in these areas have found it difficult to get to Dorchester since First withdrew their 31 and more recently their 14 service.

The new service will operated with BLUE buses (single or double-deck) and will be numbered X12 to Blandford.  Some buses have a connection on service 20 to Salisbury.

Your local councillors and others are doing all they can to make this service a success.  It could be a case again of "Use it or lose it".
